  6. bzip2  compresses  files  using  the Burrows-Wheeler block
  7. sorting text compression algorithm,  and  Huffman  coding.
  8. Compression  is  generally  considerably  better than that
  9. achieved by more conventional LZ77/LZ78-based compressors,
  10. and  approaches  the performance of the PPM family of sta-
  11. tistical compressors.
